Default Tie rod ends question. 944 Turbo

I am curious my dad just told me he has some NIB tie rod ends. He gave me the part number and they also fit some VW's. I'm fine with that, but will these fit my turbo. I have a 1986 944 Turbo. I saw on pelican parts that there are tie rod ends for the 83-86 944 and then a different kind for 87-up on the 944/Turbo/968. Which ones do I need? The part number is 171 419 812 116 020 3226 .

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

the 83-86 for your 86 car. in 87 they changed offset of the wheels and the tierods had to change accordingly
