Sounds great! I'm staying in a 6 person condo on the beach with my girlfriend, friend and his girlfriend. I haven't been to that area in a long while any sugestions as to places to go? It would be great to have a get together down there.

what part are you staying at (general area). One of the most popular places now is riverwalk in down town Ft.Lauderdale.

If you get a chance. Take a drive up to Deerfield to a place called JB's on the Beach great crowd and atmosphere.on Saturday and Sunday during the day. Will you have you Porsche with you down here?

I live in Pompano. Lots of nice places to go nearby. The Sand's Hotel right by where you're staying has a great patio bar/pool on the intracoastal, and is a great place to hang out and relax. Also lots of great diving and fishing here.

I'm in Pompano as well, right on Atlantic, I think true SoFla get together is a great idea! I'm up for drinks any night, off work at 7:00pm...let's see if we can't coordinate some kind of get together...Flanagans's Ribs, Houston's, Jeremiah's are all good, also a GREAT Carribean place up here, some superb mexican and Cuban restaurants, and plenty of other places to grab a beer. What are people in the mood for, and what night(s) work best?

I vote for Blondies on Ft.Lauderdale beach.. but I think thats a bit farther south than where your staying. I love that place and parking is not to bad even on the weekends.

Where is Blondies? On the main drag near Sunrise? It's been a while since I've been down that way...near elbow room and beach place, or am I in the wrong area entirely?

its right next to the elbow room. Looks small from the outside but its fairly large. 2 bars, a bunch of pool tables, good music and an outside area thats cool.
