well it looks like my friend will be driveing down so we will have a mode of traspertation. One thing to keep in mind is that our girlfriends are under 21. I don't know if that makes a difference at any of the places you mentioned. If it does, I don't see any problem with a night out with the guys. Anyone heard of the place we are staying at? Aslo, someone mentioned great diving. I'm not sure if I'm going to have the money this trip, but any sugestions on dive trips?

Euro,
Hey, welcome to sunny south Florida in advance,
Looks like Travis got your the low-down on some
good places. I kinda like "Margurita's" on the beach, also the "Bahia Cabana", got a great smoked fish dip there, and can come by boat.

Travis or Steve, give me a call and let me know whats up, I'll try to make any gathering too if possible. Saturday I have a company picnic at the park at A1A and Sunrise so will be busy but other than that I got some time.

I'm good for a couple of drinks out.

If you want to go diving, my friends own a dive shop right near where you are staying and can book you on one of a number of charter boats. I'd offer to take you out, but just sold my boat (two happiest days!). Email me if interested at: amxess@aol.com, and I'll give you their tel# so you can set something up.

Here's a link to my own dive website - we go down for money! Here's the link: http://www.treasureexpeditions.com/Steves-Page.htm

Well, we're here! We walked for about 2.5miles today in a strait line and came across a whole lot of nothing. We wont have a car till monday night, so I guess we'll spend our time till then at the beach. Anyone know of anything to do with in walking distance of our location? LETS PICK A DATE/TIME/AND LOCATION FOR THE DRINKS! Man you all sure know how to make weather down here!

Oh! guess what's parked at the hotel right next to ours, a gaurds red 951. Ahh just like home...

If you walk down to Atlantic Blvd. and the beach, you'll find some things to do. The Pier is there with a restaurant, a few shops, and if you walk towards the intracoastal, there are a few more restaurants. The dive shop I mentioned is just north of Atlantic in the shops at the Sand's Marina. Called "Lighthouse Dive", Linda or Nye own the place and can help you out.

For the best burgers in town and great ribs, just over the intracoastal bridge on the south side of Atlantic Blvd. is "Piranah Pats". Can't beat the food and prices.

Enjoy!

Hi Guys,
Welcome to town. Sorry to hear no wheels till monday night, bummer. If you get a chance to take a ride south on A1A down to Ft. Lauderdale beach area there are alot of things to do, also you may want to check out Los Olas Blvd, fnacy shops and eatery's there. Have fun and enjoy the sun.

thanks all. I went to the dive shop. I think I'm going to work out a dive/snorkel trip with the people here with me since I'm the only diver. There prices are great! I also went to Mulligan's. That was fun. It looks like our friend will be down here tonight. The waitress at Mulligan's recomended Los Olas, and river front. As soon as we get a car I think we'll head down there. Anyone els want to go on the dive with us?

Riverwalk is built on some of the property my mom and uncles grew up on...talk about the perfect place to grow up in the 60's (about a 20 sec walk to the heart of the Ft. Lauderdale Strip). When you pull into the garage off Cortez, you are probably driving through her front door .

There is a club upstairs, Cafe Iguana I think.

lets set a night to head down there. We can meet on the top floor of the garage. There is a black S that is usually parked in there during the day.

Eurospeed... when??? and they dont make a habit of IDing down there so the girls should be ok. Most places are 18 for girls there also.

Well we went exploring down at the riverfront. We went to the Ugly Tuna, then walked down some side street and went to a few clubs there. It was kind of dead, but still fun. How about tomorrow night. just pick a time to meet. I guess we can just meet on the top floor of the parking deck.
