here's a couple of pictures from when i first got her. she's about to come out of the garage for spring looking totally different. compressed / smoothed front bumper, turbo rear valance, fresh paint, painted calipers.. i'll post when all that is done, but for now, just a couple of pics.

And if life will just stop getting in the way, it will finally have the cage soon and then I can paint and finish the interior. Got some of the stuff to go through the engine already as well.

My dad used to race an Aston Martin ('56 DB2/4 I think) with the VSCCA and for some reason he decided to put two stripes over the driver's side wheel well. Probably to differentiate it from other cars going around Limerock (we couldn't tell the difference). I guess he thought it looked cool and so he started putting them on other cars...It just sorta grew from that into a trademark of sorts. They're on all our cars, and a lotta my stuff...

Imagine the annoyance when Chevy decided to come out with stripes in the same spot on the limited edition C4 Corvette--luckily nobody bought it!

I think I have enough reason to strip out the interior now and do the roll cage, some race buckets, harnesses and put the new carpet in. As well as that I have a fair bit of suspension stuff and some engine gear to go in. So its going to be busy between DE's.
