Default headlights

Has anyone really played around with the lights? On the mr2 forum I'm on people have been doing sleepy eye type mods with pop ups and so on. they have lowered the headlights and changed out different parts. I was wondering if anyone has done anything like that with 944.

Something like any of these:

mkiii toyota supra owners do this too, some people like it. similarly on my 88 supra turbo i rigged the fog lights to function independently from the headlights. so you could have them on with the headlights down or with the brights on!

i think it would look funny on a 944 because the shape of the headlight cover. how its straight then dips down. unlike rx7s and mr2s and so on. those cars have flat and straight headlight covers so it pulls it off like. 944s and mitsubishi starions just cant really pull it off to me.

I quite like the look of it.. IMO anything that isn't factory standard can look a little odd because I'm too familiar with the way a standard 944 looks - but after looking at these for a while, I think they look pretty cool. Still, you'll only get to see them when it's dark

you can drive around with your headlight open half way on our cars. you just can't have the lights on. unless you get creative with the wiring.

I agree with Mike (83 944) that it just doesn't pull off the same look.

Really I think the best look would have to be this....

What's wrong with the look of the stock headlights with just uprated lights/bulbs/wiring?

You should PM Rennlister "tman", as that is his car. Very good looking 951 with all the right bodywork IMO.
