Hey now, you have to remember we were our own country once! We have our own air force- the Confederate Airforce, we have ranches bigger than some states, and we have more paved roads than Russia. And by the way, I would never fly the state flag above the stars and stripes! Seriously, I get touchy when people screw around with the flag, it's not some trivial thing after all.

That's pretty impressive, even if they all aren't yours. Did you do the conversion on the SKS or did you get it that way? I had a pre-ban norinco that had a detachable 30-round, I had though about the conversion, but ended up selling it.

Tom.

Not to worry. I think that Aggie now realizes that NH won't be an east target now.

Other post edited for piccies.

Sharky

Norinco SKS came modified for detachable magazines. Gonna have a different guide plate made though, this one is too sloppy. Makes inserting mag tricky.

That's why I have so many others. As backup during mag changes.

Haha, that's cool, I sold mine to make a down payment on the pre-ban underfolder AK. Probably my favorite rifle of all, even though it's not the most advanced, I have NEVER in 2000 rounds had it jam. I love the AR, but will never have the same confidence as with the good 'ole AK. Besides, it just looks meaner, and after I put the 30mm red dot and AK-74 style muzzle break on it, makes a great close in brush gun.

Same here. My $250 SKS is as reliable as it gets. Have had some jams but all mag related. Pretty accurate for a short barell.

Not to mention .223 aint good for anything besides shooting holes in paper and groundhogs.

Friend who owns the Ar's says to use the 69 grain bullets, it's more accurate then.

Duh Bigger bullets drift less, that's why I like .30. Hoping to get an M1A1 soon.

My friend has a never fired arsenal refinished M-14 converted to semi-auto that he said I could borrow anytime I want. I would rather buy it and take it home for good. By the way, what is a good price for a Glock 23 .40 that has fired about 300 rounds, has two mags and a holster? I have another friend who wants to sell it to me but wants $500. I thought that was a little high, what do you think?

Shooting that at all will drop the price dramatically.

Seems a bit steep. You could get a new setup for that price. What in the hell do you want a glock .40 for anyways. .45 or 10mm anything else is a plinker.

I really like the '23, just thought the price was off. Maybe if I can get a good deal on it, otherwise I'll just keep my eyes open for something else.

Nope, Clockwork Orange, interesting movie to say the least. I find Stanley's movies to be very well done, loved full metal jacket, 2001, etc...
