Post Montreal Grand Prix

Well the Race is June 15th (A Sunday of course)

While driving up Last weekend I realized that there are some decent roads up through the Lake Champlain Islands in VT. Perfect combinations of twisties for Porsche driving, and nice straightaways for getting around those pesky 911's

So I figured I might be able to get a group together to head up from NH/MA Area, meeting up with any VT Rennlisters, then through to Montreal.

The trip from southern NH is about 4 hrs, through the mountains of VT it's actually a very nice ride.

As to the Grand Prix itself. General admission is $95 with Grandstands starting about $350. Hotels are also scarce. If we get enough people Daredevil and I have some contacts and might be able to get a good rate. But that would mean a solid commitment and a deposit.

I know Montreal fairly well as does Daredevil and Superwagon. I think we can guarantee a good time to be had by all.

I know of a place to stay that's a deal: the McGill U residences. They aren't fancy and you have to go to the common room to watch TV, but you can't beat $100 for three nights. Everyone else jacks their rates up for the weekend.

That said,it is very late to book. Check it out at http://www.mcgill.ca/residences/
