I have a Lloyd's cargo are mat, but I didn't get it from JC Whitney (nor would I).

It doesn't replace the rear carpet, it goes over it. It's a giant floor mat for the hatch area.

It doesn't cover the "spare tire bump" does it? I'd dare say that area is most worn on many cars. Wish someone would come up with a good solution. The rest of my interior is in pristine condition. Frustrating.

No, it doesn't cover the spare tire hump.

I got mine carpet cargo mat last night in Linen, It fits pretty well and does not cover the tire hump, my OEM rug had some strange lines with carpet missing so this now sits and makes the rear cargo area look much better with "Porsche" in Red stitching and it looks great. Next are matching front mats in Linen (will only use on special occasions)

We carry the Lloyd Mats they do not cover the spare tire. They are intended to be laid over the original mat. They also do not snap onto the back of the car. I can sell Rennlist members the Lloyd Mats plain with no embroidery for $100 plus the shipping.

We also carry a rear cargo mat that we have made for us and this one does cover the spare tire and snaps onto the back of the car I can sell that one for $150 plus the shipping. We recommend laying this one over your original carpet as well.

I assume it does not have the foam backing since you suggest laying it over the original. How exactly does it snap into the factor location if the original is already in place underneath? Thanks.

Just by unsnapping the old carpet and moving it down out of the way and snapping the new carpet in. It does not have the foam backing on it. We used to get them made with the backing years ago but it wasn't really any cheaper than buying one from Porsche so we stopped having them made.
