Very nice pictures. All those Reunalts, Peugeots,Opels,VWs bring back memories from '80's. Makes me just wonder where did all those years gone. Feels like it was just yesterday

I am bringing this thread back from nearly a year ago, of your amazing photos of the factories and museums, 'the Ring.....
because in your first post, the photo of the red turbo third from bottom with your wife beside it, shows a turbo without the rear undertray spoiler......
AND also the absence of that third brake light in the hatch at the top, if it is indeed a North American car. The missing third brake lights on those first produced 951 cars. ( some say around the first 500 built for America ).

Thanks for the compliment. This is very timely as I recently bought a very original '88 944 Turbo and am discovering why I have always had a soft spot for these cars.

One must apreciate the photograper's talent and the equipment was probably something of high quality as well.
Some of these pictures severely dwarf some of today's best car photographs.
