Hey...that's my car!

Seriously, wonder if any of those cars in the pictures are any of our cars today!?

Thanks. It was a great trip. Our son was 14 at the time. He took the Nurburgring photo from the back seat while trying to keep upright. We did two laps. At that time there was an old guy with a coin dispenser taking the 12 marks for a lap. When we finished, we drove into Nurburg for lunch. The tires were covered with little black squiggly's that looked like spaghetti. It was the first day of our trip so by the time we turned the car in, they were gone.

As I say, we did two laps. On the first lap, there was a guy taking photos on the other side of the guardrail at the Karrusel. As we approached the same area on the second lap, going a bit faster with lots of squealing tires, we saw this same guy jumping over the guardrail to safety!!

The restaurant we ate in was at a hotel. The walls were covered with racing photos, race car wallpaper and one wall was filled with autographs. I recognized Walter Rohrl's there. See if you can find anymore.

We also visited a palace near Munich where the local Opel GT club was obviously having a show.

the answer to both is yes, the red one missing the front bumper is Tifo's because it knew from day one that it was destined to get a turbo bumper.

This is as fast as the 190 would go!!

Fast enough to pass two 911's.

The hotel/restaurant we ate at after doing the 'Ring.

How they build streets.

German Police cars waiting to ship.

Audi 200 Turbo in showroom.

Jetta autocrossing.

The engine blocks shown on page one are 928 engine blocks, none appear to be for the 944. Great pics. Thanks!
