Post New interior trim...

I decided to redo my interior trim this weekend. I painted the pieces with a nice aluminum look. I was surprised at how easy it all was. I spent only an afternnon on prep and paint and let let dry overnight before reinstalling it. Personally, I think it would look better in an all black interior... Untill my membership status is updated, the pictures are viewable at my P-car profile; click below...

I know it's not for everyone and some have strong opinions about interior appearances. I welcome all yeah or nay opinions. Just don't start any rice flames...

What exactly was the prep work and what sort of paint did you use?

I think it looks good, but I agree on an all black interior it would look even better....

But I really enjoy the little home project (mainly because they are cheap)....

Looks nice!!

Im not usually a fan of the aluminum/carbon fiber/wood trim, but i think you did a great job.

Dont think it would look good in my burgandy interior though.

Damn thats a nice looking car and a very nice looking interior to go with it. My car is blck/black and I did my interior with red accents I could snap some pics and post them here. But the red look get sort of annoying after a while so I will probably do aluminum like you.

Oh AND GOOD JOB AGAIN MAN LOOKS BEAUTIFUL.

Then give them good rubbing with some alcohol to get all of the dirt out and apply paint. Do one coat at a time and let it dry and you might want to dry it with a hair dryer to speed it up but its not nescessary. This is what I did and it came out great IMO.

Sorry streckfu's951 didnt mean to steal your post just helping out man. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />
