Post What wpuld you do?

I just sold my 911 and after paying off some bills I have the delicous delima of $2,500 left to spend on the '86 951.
If you guys were in the same position, what would you do to your cars?

Hmmm, $2500? That's about 6 to 8 DE events, including food and lodging...
If I had that $$, I'd go here:
Lime Rock
Watkins Glen
VIR
Summit Point
Road Atlanta
Sebring.
(That's 6 tracks, and there should be enough $$ for gas/food/lodging!)

New Factory BBS/Sport Classic wheels and new Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole position tires. Way tasty, and might be do-able for 2500 bucks.

save the money for tires/brake pads, you'd need em for going to z-man's ideas:

Lime Rock
Watkins Glen
VIR
Summit Point
Road Atlanta
Sebring.

otherwise, save the money for repairs and or body work (if you have any)!

$1500 to get all of the mechanicals tip top, and then $1000 for a big fat audio system.

you could spend a little on your women (maybe 100 dollars) to make her happy and maybe keep her off your back after you purchase the TEC 3 <img src="graemlins/bigok.gif" border="0" alt="[thumbsup]" />
