Default Throttle body o-rings. Am I missing something?

Rebuilding my throttle body and delaing with the three o-rings that seal the shaft.

On one side, there is only one o-ring. Piece of cake.

On the other side, there are two o-rings located on either side of a bearing. I cannot get both of these o-rings seated for the life of me. Once I get one in (either one) it seems that the other side is just too tight of a fit as the bearing is now being pushed up a bit by the new o-ring on the other side.

I'm right on the verge of ordering a new $400 throttle body assembly from Sunset so if anyone knows a trick to make this easier I'd love to hear it.

I used the Arnnworx kit, but can’t find my kit instructions. Maybe someone can scan them for you. I did mine a few years back and don’t recall much drama. Sure you have the correct o-rings?

you might have to play with your TPS adjustment for idle as the throttle might not want to close all the way due to the added friction of the o-rings, which aren't the correct size

The no-rings in the rebuild kit are the wrong size?

yes it says right on arnworx page

"Special note; these o-rings are NOT original Porsche parts. All but the shaft O-rings are identical in size, shape and material. The shaft o-rings are replacements for Porsche's wiper seals. These o-rings were selected and tested carefully to provide a very good seal (up to approx 25 lbs per sq in.) without presenting significant drag on the rotation of the shaft."
