944 Cabrio Thread
It's been a while since we've had a cabrio thread.
If you have a 944 Cabrio, please post year, color, options, etc.
I'll start with the 2 in my sig.
Let's hear it from those ragtops. It's summertime!

1990 black/linen with 149k - just sold a red 1990 cab and might be picking up another black cab this weekend. The fellow that I sold the red one to has three others. Seems like there are a lot still out there.

I just bought a 90 Baltic Blue with Linen cab with 115k about a month ago. Its been at the shop for over two weeks getting the works done - R134, waterpump, belts, motor mounts, new shifter, ss brake lines etc.
This week the car will get GC koni kit with 300lbs Eibach springs and lowered to Euro spec. Ordering an Autopower rollbar like Jsaindc. Looking to get new wheels too....suggestions?

How recently have belts/rollers/wp been done? Shop charge is likely $1500? The other unknown is potential clutch failure of the rubber centered unit. That's another $2k at a shop. They fail and its not dependant on mileage or time. 20K in 20 years isn't a lot of use. I imagine it still has the original tires Take those two big ticket items under advisement imho.
If it looks as nice as it sounds.. I think its a $10-13K car. Some may think higher... and others think ALL 944's can't be worth more than $5K
What would you do with it? part of its perceived value is low miles and likely great condition
