Post front bumper mods?

I have read a couple of threads talking about bumper mods that can be done to the early 944/924. What are they? I have searched the web and all the popular catalogs to no avail? Any suggestions? Thanks

What can't be done??

<a href="http://www.gt-racing.com" target="_blank">http://www.gt-racing.com</a> comes to mind.

Or you can go with the mideastmafia look and compress your bumper.

Thanks a million for the link. I am not sure what I want to do yet, trying to keep it subtle.
You have a great site, a real nice 924, hate to hear that she is gone! I will browse around and try to find this "mideastmafia snubnose" you speak of! Thanks again.

Shaun, hey man, I love it! Looks great. Do you have any pics from the side? Seems I read somewhere that the front bumper was a beast to cut and weld.... any tips? Or do I too have to "call in the wolf"?

not cutting or welding AT ALL..

just take off ur bumper, remove the bumper shocks, drill out the shocks and get all the gas out, take out the bumper pads and metal dowels under them, put bumper back on, push bumper to compress the shocks.

yep.. just use a sharp chizzle and they will just hack right off.

be VERY careful not to hit the paint.. underneath it will be scratched up so u will need some touch up paint.

what about this one?? its from <a href="http://fiberwerks.com" target="_blank">http://fiberwerks.com</a>

the only thing i would be concerned about would be it fitting correctly.. many aftermarket bumper covers dont line up well.. i currently have a turbo front bumper and i am having problems getting it to look right.

Yeah man, thanks for all the pics! I am going to print a couple of yours out and compare it to what my car may look like with that? Unfortunatley my 924 does not have the wide body so most of the fronts wont work. I say "unfortunatley" but I like the slim body just as much as the wide body. Just seems there are a lot more examples of what can be done to the 944 i.e. rims, suspension, fronts and such. Oh well, someone has to "pioneer" it!
