Post Help with condensation on inside of taillights

I am getting annoying condensation on the insides of my taillights after the car is washed and during rainy season. Has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you fix it? It's probably an outside seal problem as my hatchback drainage hose is routed properly and the hatch is sealing correctly.

Any help is appreciated

I have used a really simple fix which almost always works. Just drill a small drainhole at the bottom so the water can drain/dry out. It's not a perfect solution but it works well.

I get tired of cleaning my taillights out as well.

Sometimes, when I'm caravaning with my Pop, I watch the waves in his taillaights and vow to get a little plastic fish to put in there for my amusement..

Unfortunately, this doesn't help you at all.

I resealed my goop with black silicone - prolly not a good idea, but it is working thusfar. Some believe the plastic joints leak between the lenses and the black plastic frames. I suppose some clear epoxy could carefully be applied in the cracks to rectify that potential area as well.

On the e mail list, guys call this blinker fluid and it should be changed when the oil is changed to keep things in proper working order.

Also for best performance, only use synthetic blinker fluid.
