Post Recommended Yoko pressures for the track

Maybe I'm using the wrong search keywords, but I've turned up almost nothing in the archives. (Also, Tire rack gives lots of advice for Hoosiers and Michelins, but for some reason not Yokos)

My question:

What is a good starting point for cold pressure and target hot pressure for Yokohama 032R tires 225/245 on 16" design 90 wheels on an '89 944S2.

the car has -3.3 camber in front, -2.2 rear and has Koni yellow adjustable shocks.

I'm looking for any advice/experience from you dedicated track junkies. Tomorrow is the first time on the track for me in this car.

Thanks in advance.

Mike, this is what I have written down on my spec sheet thingy from those days. No (I repeat NO) clue if this is accurate notes. The tires were 225/50-16 fronts, 245/45-16 rears.

Tire Pressures (psi) LF:36 RF:36 LR:30 RR:30

This was with -2.75ish camber LF/RF (actually IIRC, it was more like -2.87 LF, -2.75 RF), -1.75 camber LR/RR, 1/16" toe-out front, 1/16th toe-in rear (problem getting it to zero with the right rear so we punted w/ toe-in vs. having it crab) and I cannot find what the caster was (have the number 2.5 but not sure if that is accurate). The springs are 400# coil-over kit w/ OTS KONI Yellows at just off of full stiff, 400# coil-overs with the inverted KONI rears plus the factory (140#) torsion bars (using the coil-overs as helpers so they are the preload).

But I should say that I never felt that I had the _best_ grip with the car (this was a far cry better than when I ran all 4 at 38 psi however - big difference). Nothing like the grip of my IT car (but weight plays a huge role in that IMO). Don't get me wrong, the car felt pretty good for what it was but it was definately not a race car - and these (compared to the RA-1s and R3S03s aren't race tires <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" /> ).

Best of luck and hopefully this isn't totally misnoted stuff.
