Post New 951 charity

The 'Build a Better 951 Foundation'has been organized to assist Streckfu with the construction and tuning of his 1988 Porsche 944 turbo. All proceeds will go directly to the vehicle's account with very little administrative costs to waste the funding. Only the best possible equipment will be purchased and lovingly cared for. Financial and material donations are greatly appreciated. All donations in excess of $1000 will earn a comemorative plaque from the Foundation. We accept cas, checks, money orders and Paypal.

Thank you for caring,
Daniel
President and CFO Build a Better 951 Foundation

How is the weather in Virginia beach? My wife & daughter are going down there to visit family in Chesapeake in 2 weeks. I'm staying home to spend some quality time with the 944.

Oh, get real! I don't even have my 944 in my hands yet and you are plugging away for help on a 951!? Can you say "Pooooorsche?"

Nice try.

It's raining now. It should be fine in a couple of weeks. It's been warming up when you mid-westerners aren't sending your rain this way....

By mid-May it should be nice; upper 70s, etc.

You need a whole car, so you're far from Porsche Nirvana.
We just need a few hundred dollars here and a couple thousand dollars there to unlock the amazing potential sitting in our garages. And we're broke, cuz we just dropped a bundle on a 951 (at least I am).
You can only sell so much plasma in a month before you start to get a bit loopy.

I'm trying to line up Sally Struthers to do commercials for us Streckfu.

Very cool. Think she'll bring a sandwich?

I'm on the Peanutbutter for swaybars diet...

Actually, I'm trying to recover from having the belts changed, front end seal, and oil cooler housing resealed....

I have to fund: M030 sway bars, aero mirrors, 968 door handles, GT front splitter, 968 turbo rear wing, bigger turbo, injectors, Lindsey wastegate, Prefec B, Dyno time for chips, BBS LM wheels, Roll bar, Momo seats, Autometer gauges (yes more of them), LSD (the differential , etc....etc...etc.....etc......ad nauseum

I've got a KLA strut tower bar, excellent street tires (on PDs) and SS brake lines so far. I want...
Koni Yellows
New shifter
Boost enhancer or boost controller
New clutch (racing clutch?)
New exhaust
968 spoiler
Rollcage
New seats
New interior
2004 Carrera GT (how'd that get in my list?)
New street rims w/ new street tires
R-compound tires for the PDs

If I win the lottery tonight, I'll buy you all the stuff you listed. (Of course the drawing isn't until tomorrow... )

How about an emergency repair kit?

Includes:

1 bottle of Evian
2 Tylenol
2 paperclips
1 roll of duct tape
1 cell phone to call AAA
1 2 litre soda bottle of water

Heheheheh...can almost fix everything with that! Evian and Tylenol is for you, while you wait for help!

You're so welcome for the suggestions!
