@ mattipuh - it means Limited Slip Differential

@ hotshu - beautiful car! Would love to see some engine pics (only to drool because your car is on the wrong side of the world and the steering wheel is on the wrong side for me). Can you explain what you mean by "oem crimped fenders"?

Factory motorsport "suspension" option M030 as I described in the 1st post.

220 is the option code for ordering the ltd slip differential.

The factory crimped/rolled the inside fender lip to get more clearance for wider wheels and/or tires with M030.

AFAIK the 2 in the S2 rear badge is all on the same line from the factory. The rear end has never been repainted or had bodyshop work. What's your the last 3 numbers of your VIN? Mine was car #107 of 510. I assumed it was a factory tweek/upgrade they did over time, as Porsche being the fastidious people they are.

I dont have a color breakdown by production numbers. But I would guess guards red is the most popular colour for 944's.

Another Porsche watercooled rear end shot, as requested...

Joe, what's your last 3 digits of your VIN? Before or after mine (...107)?

Mine is 336...

I know guards red will be the most popular, however it'd be cool to know if it's really a 1 of 225 instead of 1 of 510 if you know what I mean!
