Let's See Your Window Stickers!
Who has a scan or copy of an original window sticker for any 924/944/968 car?
Neither of my cars had there's with the records, so I was just curious to see what variations there may have been over the years in pricing, etc.

Purchased my 86 n/a new at a Porsche dealership in Mobile, Alabama. Anybody out there remember Joe Coker Imports?? I wanted to "spec" out my car; not buy any 944 off the lot. I ordered the coupe (no sunroof). Only 2 options I wanted were the Graphite Metallic Paint and cruise control. Lots of options back then to choose from......drives up the total cost real fast. When I ordered my car in Nov 85, the base price was $23,900. When the car arrived to the dealer in Mar 86; Porsche had a price increase. The dealer maintained the $23,900 base + the cost of the 2 options.

DLarsen, thanks for the info. Did a lot of 944 buyers back then choose to go crazy on the options, or were many more simplistic like your selections?
Very interesting to see some of the different options and pricing. Does anyone happen to have a 944S2 window sticker?

Back in the 1980's , a lot of 944 buyers would of purchased new what the Porsche dealer had on the lot. Many 944's on the dealers lot had many options. When I was shopping for my 944; I wasn't in any rush and ordered one with the options I wanted. I didn't think the option cost for the sunroof was worth it. Also, I knew I was going to put a customize stereo system in; so I didn't order the radio.

Here's my original invoice. $32,000 for a base, base 944! That's $57,000 inflation adjusted to 2009 using the CPI. That's Boxster/Cayman money. I loves my 944, but it's no Cayman.
