I loves my 944, but it's no Cayman.
It was, back in the day...

Here are a couple of sticker images I've collected over the years

It's interesting to see how much the base price jumped between 1986, 1987, and 1988.

It took me awhile to find it but here it is.

I bought it from Len Stoler Porsche in Reisterstown Maryland. They had to do a dealer exchange because I wanted Black and they didn't have one at that moment. I didn't want to wait for one to come from Germany. I had just had a person run a Red light and total my 924.

I did have the Charleston radio switched to the Reno.

...at 1/2 the speed! But still a pretty good performer compared to a regular 944. Personally, I love it!

On where it says touring package for one of the options; what does it mean? I am guessing softer suspension or maybe or soundproofing? I have it on my car as well.

You mean sport handling package - MO30 Koni Sport Suspension

The option code for this car is M756, and Porsche pretty much made a super light club racer with absolutely no extras but Power Steering and A/C. No targa roof, no power windows, no power mirrors, and light alloy rims. Matter of fact - it doesn't even have a rear view mirror for the passenger side.

The sales price says it all...

Sands' invoice says "Touring Package", apparently in reference to the partial leather seating.

Yea I am not sure what I paid 2,363 extra for either.

As for the comment about the leather I think it was just a note about the two tone interior of light gray and black.

This should help a bit on interpreting the Monroney description of 'Touring Package' from Porsche's option offerings.

These documents were included with the sale of my White 944 Normally Aspirated sunroof cpe.

Documents were included from the first thru previous owner I bought it from, and all notes and hadwritten paperwork were from that first guy who special ordered this car out new. It had 28,000 original miles when it was purchased by me one year ago, then driven back from Billings, MT.

This is what you got for the 'touring package'. You should have a corresponding I82 option code on your white build code sticker, shown here. I am surprised at the one year increase in pricing; it's quite substantial.
