I bet it's a factory color - they made 914s in all sorts of crazy colors and the 924 came right after the 914.

I thought it looked like signal green, but hard to tell in those pics. I have never seen it on anything other than a 911 though. I can't imagine there are too many of these out there. Would never have trouble finding it in a parking lot!

I've seen it on maybe 2 or 3 924s including this one. IMO, one of the few cars that can pull off that color with aplomb, along with the 914 & early 911 body style.
