Default Gemballa front fascia for 944 almost available

When I bought my car back in Jan, it came with a spare/extra front end bumper/fascia. I wasn't sure what year 944 it was from at first, as I have the rest of a Gemballa kit on my car, I just assumed the front end already on the car was also Gemballa.

I was wrong. A turbo front end was installed when the Gemballa front end sustained minor cracking from obviously rubbing up against a parking curb.

Anyhoo. I've brought out my fibreglass supplies, and I have been busy sanding and fibreglassing it so I can sell/swap for it. I have no desire to change the front end on my car. I will prime it when completed, and I will post some pictures. It would be a different kind of "bumper delete" project.

Any interest? I will post on Kijiji etc when it is available unless a Rennlister wants first dibs.

I'm in Toronto.

Well before I get too far, this is what the air dam looked like before I started on it. Not too bad. Weather has not been cooperating. I am working outside to avoid filling my garage with dust. Rain and more rain. It is cleaning up nicely, and I'm on my first skim coats to fill in minor imperfections. I will do this 2-3 more times, then shoot it with some primer, and then it will be ready to go on to the next owner.

structural repairs complete, starting on the cleanup.

I will post a pic once it is all primed.

Thanks for looking!

I have an extreme interest in this piece whenever you put it up for sale. How much would you be asking?

Wow that actually looks really cool. You could always take a mold and start making replicas, I'd definitely want one eventually

Well. I've taken this thing as far as I am prepared to go. Structurally it is sound. I should go over it again, but I've started thinking that someone is going to have to do some kind of work to mount this thing depending on the model/ year of car they want to put it on, let alone fitting fibreglass parts to a 20+ year old car requires tweeking at the best of times. I am not a professional bodyman, so prepping this for a final paint is beyond my ability to do this quickly enough to make it worth while.

I have given it a very thin coat of primer to help bring out the imperfections to help with final prepwork.

I'll sell it outright, but would rather trade for some parts that I would like to have.
I'm currently looking for:
944 turbo fog light complete assemblies (I have a turbo front fascia)
New stock or refurbished/rebuilt calipers/rotors that fit an 86 944 na early offset suspension.
Drop me an email if you're interested and want to make a deal.

Who makes that Gemballa front fascia?
Looks like what I have been looking for as an alternative to the 951 front.

If you did make a mold of this how much would you charge for the units?
