I think many of us are just tired of half the threads on the board turning into debates on the subject of rice. Purists, take it easy.

Brett-
I drove my car from the auto shop to my house and it was like 40,000 orgasms all at once. I need to tighten the headers and get the air release screw and i think it's good to go. I'm rolling out to porsche of barrington to get the screw and the rear valance nuts i need.. I just came in from sitting out in the driveway testing out the stereo.. i forgot how freakin loud it can go, it got my teeth rattling and everything.

anyways this weekend i think im gonna do the crossmember, if you wanna come and help out, gimme a holler.

later!

I am not a fan of this rocker. The best one i have ever seen was Zender rocker, which is not available anylonger.
My friend used to have a '88 944 special edition with these Zender rockers & rear bumper. They were installed at the factory !

If you lowered the car more, you wouldn't need running boards.

iloveporshes,

It's all good.

While I do not see myself as a purist (my 951 has a maf,garrett,intercooler,tial,17" cup rims, blah, blah) I do try to stay true to the marquee.

I have seen great looking front splitters, awsome Ruff rims, and have considered a vented nose panel (not because I like them, but to help performance), I would never install a humongo wing or side pods.

In my humble opinion, the 944 body is perfect. It was the body style that sold so many 944's in a very tough economy. Basically kept Porsche afloat. The body performs well up to the 132mph engine limit, but then it gets light. The 951 body was changed to deal with the increase in top speed. The 951's increase in down force only added .03 coefficient of drag over the 944's body.

I also apologize for the "deductive" stab.

So I guess, I LOVE YA MAN...............can I have your Bud now?

Oh that's right! The random skateboard in there. You skate? I suck, but it's nice to see a fellow Rennlister with a deck in tow...
