Are there any aftermarket oil filler caps that fit the 944?

Hey, I'll take an MG-42 while you're at it...

...and an squad of infantry to hump the ammo...
Or maybe a Tiger II...but with a modern engine & tranny!
Jim, who has read too much military history over the years...

OH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! (in bold letters)
Any one with access to solid works are mechanical desktop can expireince with fabrication. I was thinking' about making my own front sway bushings out of Delron. But I am being told it wouldn't compress enough
Now that I have ruined this topic with an obscenely LARGER PIC, I think I'll go search for another page to destroy!!! (that was italicized especially for LEMON )

Check out <a href="http://www.batinc.net" target="_blank">www.batinc.net</a> for a fuel door idea.
I like the look and I hate rice

I think those black plain race mirrors they sell in TWEEKS would make a cleaner statement than an aluminum fuel door. THe fender lines are so clean and smooth, I wouldn't want to botch that. that's just my HO

Lukesilver95186-
Don't give up on that idea. You could make that delrin bushing as a 2 piece item with the shoulder on only one side and split down the middle axially. Then press fit the pieces into the brackets and use 2 piece shaft collars on the shouldered side to keep them in the bracket. The collars are roughly $7.00 ea. from MSC or Grainger.
Cheers,

Hey Tabor,
I got a chance to "demo" an MP5 when I worked at the gun shop. We were a class 3 dealer and part of my job was to demo guns for clients. So low and behold we get this pair of MP5s in with full cans and stocks. My pal George and I went through about 500 rounds in one of em up at my friends house in the north GA mountains. It was really kind of creepy, all you could hear was the bolt slamming shut, the casings hitting the ground and the slugs thumping the target down range.
We had so many guns out that day; Colt Anaconda, Sig Sauer 229, Browning Sweet 16, Ruger GP 100. My pal told me a police helecopter circled his house the next morning. I am really glad we didn't get stopped on the drive up or back.
But that pales in comparison to the M14/A2 squad automatic weapon we demoed one afternoon up there.
