Post Brake weirdness this morning- can anyone hlep?

This morning I hopped into the 951 to go to work and, after starting right up, dropped it into reverse to back out of the garage (parking brake was off). The car hesitated for a second as if the brake was on and then "POP" (or kind of a "clunk" sound) it gave way and the car moved. It felt as if something was sticking and then un-stuck. Now there is a strange "brushing" sound coming from the brakes whenever I stop. The car FEELS ok when stopping but did I break something? Maybe it's stopping because three of the four brakes are working?

Any idea?

Did you get your brakes wet before you put it in the garage? The pads will rust a bit to the rotors and it can make a pop sound when you break them apart. Then you hear a brushing/grinding like sound when applying brakes until the pads wear the rotor rust off.

Yes, they were wet. I had hand washed the car in my driveway in anticipation of driving to my Brother-in-law's home, however it started to rain so I garaged it and we took my wife's car. I dried the car with a cloth but I guess the brakes were still wet...
