WTF!: 944S no power at wot !?!

I finally got the clutch bled and was able to go for a test drive in my neighborhood. At any temp, anything over half throttle seems like no acceleration at all. Low end is great. Also, The temp gauge is screwy. It will rise to almost the red zone, then drop to normal temps. It is scary to watch it go up so fast. If you tap on the gauge cluster, it will sometimes go back to normal. There is a gauge temp sender. I need some tips.

Bad grounds. Especially the bell housing ground.
Check the battery connections.
Pulled a vacuum line by accident
If your car was operating fine before the clutch bleed, something happened in that time you spent.
