Default S2 Idle better without ICV

The idle on my s2 cab has been all over the place again. Last night I unplugged the ICV.

Drove to work and back today with it unplugged and she ran and idled well at about 900 when the AC was not on.

When I turned on the AC (needed it today it was hot) it idled consistently at about 650 except for about a second when I would let off the throttle and it would dip low never stall but dip low. Then quickly recover to 650i. Also at 650 there is quite allot of vibration.

So opinions should I be looking at getting a new ICV?

Yeah, ISV it seems.
You might try cleaning it since they can get gummed up. I replaced mine (~US$170 in 2005) because it's kind of a pain to get to on the S - have to pull the intake manifold (not sure abou taccess on the S2)

I actually pulled it and cleaned it a couple of months ago. I managed to get it out without removing the intake although was a challenge. Had to remove the throttle body and a few other items.
