Performance Drivers Assoc.?
Ive posted this on the 911 board and thought I'd ask here too-
Has anyone had any experience with "Performance Drivers Association"?
web site: <a href="http://www.imp-auto.com/pda/" target="_blank">http://www.imp-auto.com/pda/</a>
They offer what seems to be the equivalent of drivers education events and Im considering attending one at pocono 10/12/02 - any comments (good and bad ) would be appreciated.
TIA!

I've run with them several times and will continue to do so. They offer typical track time (4 25-30 minute sessions/day). I run solo with them so I've never tried one of their instructors but my friends who have report good experiences. They're fairly well run events and I've never had an issue with them. A pretty good mix of machinery tends to show up.
I would not attend Pocono unless it's the long course. The infield sections are not particularly fun or technical so you're left with the NASCAR banking for fun. The long course is the only config that I enjoy because it includes two of the NASCAR banked corners with an infield jaunt.
