Default GT Racing 944 Rear Bumper install problem

I just received my GT racing rear bumper and have a fitment issue. Where most have had to shim the mounting tabs out form the body I have just the opposite problem. My mounting tabs extend out about an inch to far and won't allow the bumper to mount all of the way to the car. Also the tabs are located just inside of where they need to bolt up. Anyone else have this problem or a solution? Thanks.

I just had the same problem. The normal mounting tabs are way off on the bumpers. Since my car is a race car I didnt care much for what it looked like. I got the lined to match up by forcing it into place. Then I used screws to screw the bumper into place. Finally I used some giant washers to semi secure the normal tabs in place. To me it is functional and looks fairly good. For someone who's car isnt a racecar, its going to take some time and effort to get it to fit right. Not sure why they are so off.
