speaking of which is there anyway I can recalibrate that set up so the stock boost gauge could represent say 3 bars. Id like to keep my dash as bare as possible

No without changing the internal MAP sensor inside the KLR, and reprogramming it...

I had a problem a few years back with my car cutting out under load. It was the ignition wires, shorting to the fuel injector harness!!The car would die & start right back up, every time. I finally looked under the hood at night & it looked like a lite show. One specific large ark was going right to the connector for the fuel injector.

Alright i made one of those contraptions now it just needs to stop raining for once.

Try pulling the fuel filter there could be a load of crud in there if not the injectors could be blocked. Also does it happen at a certain RPM? if it is at lower RPM's i would tend to be leaning towards a blocked injector

i'll take a look at my fuel filter just to be safe. it was in storage for 3 years so that could be the case as well
