Default Pics of my 924S on gravel hillclimb rally

Last Sunday we took part on a local small hillclimb that took place on a gravel special stage

My car only used gravel tyres for the event. No other additional mods

The race was about 2.0 klms timed trial half uphill half downhill. 55 Cars took place most of them classics from the 70s race prepared....

I drove my car together with a friend who has much more experience than me on gravel.

The hill climb was repeated on 2 heats. One morning one afternoon (same stage)
In the morning we were 1st YES 1st overall together with a race preped BMW 2002 (exactly same time) , but I managed to hit the oil sump so our race was over....

Here's the damaged sump....
And the repaired below ....

Lesson learned. Next time we put a metallic sump guard on gravel....

nice pictures

also, call me crazy, but doesn't the driver's side front fender (what would be pass. side in the US) of that CGT look like a narrowbody 924 fender?

Nice spotting !!!
Its true what you say. The car had an accident hence the wide gaps and 924 front right fender. Wing was not available on time so in order to miss the race a 924 one was installed!!! It is now prepared and looks better !!!

I was wondering who would spot it first

handling was so much predictable and very controlable on slides. I wish it had LSD though. It would me much better
