Wink

It has already been done, it was called "<a href="http://home.earthlink.net/~porsche944t/FEST.html" target="_blank">944Fest</a>"

Sure, we welcome our 968 and 924 brothers. Unfortunately, Rennlist wasn't an "Official" sponsor. This year it is Sunday, July 7th.. In Ohio..the "heart" of it all!

our country's so damn big, but oh well!- i'll put my option in for las vagas (except during summertime of course) or the anywhere else near or on the left coast.

'fest' sounds good too though.

rennlisters unite - let's assimilate!

"What do you think Jim........should we invite outsiders to our play ground?"

Only if they sign binding documents that they won't move here permanently...

from what i've seen looking at people's "from:" tags, it appears that northern california is second only to nyc area for density of rennlist people. and having lived in both states i can see we have the better roads and better coast out here! oh yeah, hotter women and better mountians, too.

we should organize something at a campground or such where we could get wasted without worrying about driving our precious cars home afterwards.

How about this. Lets not rush into this. If we just quickly put something together for this summer I do not belive that it will be as big as we all would like it. Lets keep this topic open for a while and try to find an actual location that someone knows how to book. If we really want to do this(which I do) then lets take our time and do it right. If it is on the west coast we can organize a cruiz for all the people on the east. I would love to make a trip from east to west with a group of porsches. Also I think it would be great if we could put together an actual event and not just a get together. If we want to have as many "basterd" porsches as we can than we will have to do a lot more advertising than just on rennlist. If anyone is intersted in doing something along these lines let me know. I have produced many events of all sizes.

At Hershey we're doing a 968 meet, we're looking at over three dozen cars at least. Our own party will be Friday and Friday night, and we're going to have a convoy from the hotel to the flea market, all those cars in a row should be some sight! If we do a general 4cyl waterpumper meet in the metro area count me in.

How about 4th of July at Waterford Hills (MI) we can show those Corvette weenies what a real car can do! <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />

If that is too much - we can plan on the day the Michigan Sports Car Club (MSCC) has Waterford Hills (should be either the 5th or 6th of July)

I'll be at both. If I don't bring Herbie (my 944) I'll be there in the screaming RED Dodge Colt (RWD thank you).

I think short term setting up something at Hershey would be really great. I'm planning on going up with at least two other waterpumpers (a turbo and a NA). Everyone I have talked to says that it is not to be missed. There will be hundreds of porsches there, and if we all meet up it could make a good day even better.

Lets have it in bowling green, Ky that would be a slap in the face of all the corvette owners!....

Seriously, i like the idea of a south eastern u.s. meet. birmingham, middle tn, or atlanta area.
