DVC, or anyone else with one- what is the cost on the electric brake booster? I have seen the link from the other thread about the cover of the manual, but I have not been able to find the price on their site.

Thats what I was looking for, thank you. Probably going to have to wait on that part for a while- just burned through several thousand on conversion parts.

That's a fair price for what you end up with.
Greg- I don't know if it helps or not, but I did my N/A LS2 swap in stages; motor first and then suspension and brakes. I did do the 951 transaxle at the same time as the V8, but if I could go back I would have held off on that as well.

Not quite. GM would say, "Motor first, then suspension and brakes, if we have the time and money for it."

i dont fully understand the absolute need for monster brakes on a streeted 944, even with an ls engine...there isnt really any weight difference for the brakes to deal with, and an engine that is off throttle (when you would be braking) makes no more power whether its a 2.5L or a 6.3L...944 brakes, even NA, seem like plenty for the car...larger is nice yes, but absolutely necessary? only for racing imo.

I totally agree. In fact, even for track use, there's no proof that the extra speed is going to overwhelm n/a brakes. It's always better to go bigger; but not essential unless/until you find a deficiency.

Lot's of BBKs are sold and most of them are lengthening stopping distances because the pads don't heat up enough in street use.

Yup, 928GTS calipers w/ 993TT drilled rotors and bias valve is the perfect brake upgrade for our LS or Turbo S type modified cars.
