SSI Ball Joints Control Arms
Who has used the SSI brass ball joints to rebuilt their control arms?
How long did the job take, and what tools were needed?
Thanks in advance to Perry.

Took me about 1/2 hour a side. You will need a vise or a large C clamp, small flat blade screwdriver or punch to remove the epoxy and the circlip, 15mm socket to remove the bolt on the spindle, 19mm deep and 21mm shallow sockets to compress the joint (other sizes will work too), solvent and some good moly grease.
Instructions with the kit are great.
Also.. if you use the C clamp, you can do it on the car, just seperate the arm from the spindle and compress the joint. This could save you an alignment since you would not need to take the arms out of the car.

I'm assuming that the SSI kit is the same as sloan's kit. If so, it took me about an hour per side plus a couple hours to let the epoxy dry. I used JB Weld, but you could probably find something that dries quicker.
