Default early oil pressure gauge bulb removal

i cant seem to get the bulb out of my oil pressure gauge. ive tried twisting and pulling and it just feels like its going to break.

i need to get my ash back together and i would like to get it replaced.

When it feels about to break, you're almost there. Twist it out, 90 degrees IIRC.

thanks, i got it removed. it felt, and sounded like it was going to break, but it came out in one piece.

i need to change the bulb too.. in the 1st place, how to remove the oil pressure gauge?

you need to remove the entire panel its mounted to

1. pull on the heater control levers and **** (they come right off)
2. remove the two small screws on the bottom of the heater control panel (if they are even there, mine are not)
3. carefully slide down on the heater control panel. it should slide out but there is a bulb in it.
4. pull the bulb out of the heater panel (it slides right out
5. remove the two screws behind the heater panel, the one above the clock, and the one above the oil gauge.
6. pul slightly up and out on the "gauge panel" it will come out but the cigarette lighter plug on the back can make it a little fussy coming out.
7. twist the black tab with a wire on each side of (bulb holder) it 90 degrees with your a needle nose, then pull the bulb holder out

no problem. it may not be 100% accurate. i did if from memory and my car is not with me right now.
