As it looks like our swedish friends are indeed taking a bit long with this matter, I'm interested too. Since the car is an euro model, I'd only need the front blinkers, not side markers...

Anything up to $100 including shipping to Finland and I'm in. There might be a chance to save on the shipping costs if I can get some people over here to join in...

I have a meeting set up in the morning and shall see what the situation is. Remember guys, for the forward lights, we are talking about 4 distinct lenses. If you guys saying $50 are thinking $50 for all 4, you are absolutely nutz.

For the sidemarker lenses, here is what I'm thinking about. The lens is fused to the white plastic base shell, unlike the turn signal/running light which has a seperate lens. Probably the best way to do this would be to just sell the clear lens face, you saw off the old lens face, spray paint the white shell with chrome paint and then glue on the clear lens. Or you could ship me your original units and I will replace the amber lens.

Remember this is a small run, not cracking off 50,000 units in an injection mold.

Sami, check with your buddies. I told Olli I was thinking about this idea but he hasn't gotten back to me yet. If we could put several pairs of the forward lenses in one package we can really knock down the per unit cost on shipping. I was checking into rates on shipping to Martin in New Zealand on another item and discovered that big packages are *way* cheaper on a per unit basis, as you would expect.

Keith, I don't even have you down for the battery cable kit. I am all sold out of the negatives as the pre-85.5 guys need them really bad. A 12 to 1 order ratio. 12 negatives to 1 full battery cable kit. Parts should be in next week to make up some more negatives.

Every early 944 guy should order my negative, money back guarantee for improvement. Just ask the pre 85.5 guys that have actually installed.

Anyway, these cosmetic changes to the lights are not going to be cheap. 50 bucks is just stoopit if they think they are going to get them for that, unless that is for ONE forward running/turn signal lens. Then you have to buy the bulb that is silver coated but shines amber. Ahmet, forget it, you will never buy this mod.

That is why I held off waiting for the Swedes. But that is getting too much in time so I'm going to check out someone else doing it. I'm fairly sure it will cost more than you could buy the originals in amber. Just look at Performance Products or Tweeks for cost. I'm not going to eat costs on this. I'm just offering some to get in on the first cast and spread the cost around, as I'm going to do it anyway. Ahmet and you other 50 buckers, you are out of the game.

Let's see what the meeting tommorrow brings.

Regards,

Dan
