Brought home this little gem today...
1983 with 51k original miles.
I knew the early 44's were lighter than the later ones but I didn't realize by how much, the title states 2675#.
Anyone know what's up with these wheels? The center cap says MSW, they are 7 & 8 x 16's. Aftermarket? Not sure I like 'em...
I got a folder full of receipts from the PO. I still need to go through and see what's what, but I think it's due for water pump and belts. Also a coolant leak I'll need to track down. I know one of the previous owners, saw his name on one of the receipts, contacted him and he had great things to say about the car. All in all it's a pretty sweet example.

MSW is still in business I think, they make low end cast alloy wheels, and I don't think their quality has changed much over the years.
If you like the design, keep/refinish them, or use them for winter wheels. If not, you probably could get $300ish. FWIW, I've never seen the wheels before, so they may be somewhat rare. But, that doesn't them desirable.

I have MSWs also. Mine are 16 inch staggered (7 and 8 inches). I am running 225/50/16 front and 245/50/16 in the back.
Mine were missing the center caps so I modified center caps from my old cookie cutters to fit.
