No and yes. No from the stand point of it will bolt up. Yes from the standpoint that you will need the Turbo S DME & KLR.

Really it is waste of money to do that. The K26/6 with aftermarket chip will make more hp than stock Turbo S. Just put chip in the car and forget about it. If you decide to swap a turbo don't bother with K26/8. Do a real turbo upgrade for either a k27/6 hyrbid or one of turbo kits from some of vendors here. You can then easily make 330 whp for the same cost a K26/8 (unless you just happen to have good k26/8 laying around).

Also the larger hot side on the k26/8 does increase lag a bit. It is not that much, but some. It is still very manageble on the street. Also peak torque i sat 3500 rpm with k26/6 vs 4000 for K26/8.

That sounds great, I'll get the chip and see how it runs. I picked the car up today and a much longer drive. The car feels quite tight compared to some of the higher mileage turbos Ive driven, at high speed its great but did seam a little, only a little, sloppy in roll. So I plan to upgrade the suspension first, along with the chip. I had a 964 some years ago and just put lowering springs on the original dampers and the difference was great. Any suggestion on suspension setup, lowering and/or 17 or 18 inch wheels? It has the original 16 inch teledials at the moment.
