Is an 968 backend upgrade RICE for the 944?

I wouldn't consider it rice. I happen to think it is a stylish upgrade which adds a great deal to the beauty of the car. It isn't anything like adding street glow or a tasteless spoiler. If you are planning to do it, I say go for it. I'm going to do it when I get my 944.

But the 944 rear is soo awesome looking! Those strong lines! May not be as sharp as Italian cars, but it certainly has its own appeal. The bumper especially! 968 is way too smooth. They should have just made the 944 S3 and tossed a turbo 968 engine into the S2. Would have been much better.

The 968 rear is awsome. I know you don't like it Travis, <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" /> but it does look way more modern than the 924/944 backend.
The thing is, I'd rather buy a 968 than mutilate my 951. I'll go as far as Euro Bumpers, because that's still 944 territory, but a 968 backend on a 944 is a bit extreme for me.
Although others have done it and it looks great.
