Carpet came from walmart. It's like 8$ a roll, matches pretty well and is really light weight.

I can't seem to find this carpet at my local walmart...do you have a picture of the roll or the name of the company that makes it?

At the walmarts around here it's in the automotive section. I think they're like 36 inch rolls in clear wrap.

Just get creative....
If I give away all the details it makes it difficult to get people to pay for these panels.I've sold 3 sets so far.

meister- won't you have problems getting the door to shut properly? i feel like that would get annoying after a while. not to mention if someone grabs it while moving along on accident... cool idea though!

He would need a secondary door pull. the strap latch wont work well on its own..

with what i have mocked up so far the strap needs a good solid pull to open, nothing that can be done on accident, if anything its a bit too firm and i will have a seperate door handle like the 911 rs panel to close the door.

Any updates 944meister. Was really looking forward to seeing what you came up with.

If anyone else has pics of DIY door panels please share.

'Flash' over on 968forums moved his window switches to the center console. Might require dash removal.
