I did it with the car on jacks but I guess it will be just as easy with the var on ramps.

There's a couple of ways to do it - the easiest I've found without a lift is with two stands and two jacks. Lift the front, place stands, then use two jacks to lift the arms to normal riding position. This allows the bar to have slack, and prevents preload (in or out).

You can also undo the center drop mounts at the chassis, feed the ends in, then reattach the middles. Either way seems to work fine. Just did mine in a parking lot this weekend to repace a control arm bushing that fell apart during autocross. Having a helper really 'helps'!

Good Luck!

I have taken mine off and replaced on ramps, you will be fine. I found that loosening the nuts at the arms (equal turns both sides) first made thing easier, then just drop from the middle. For replacing, same thing except place all bolts in loosely, then torque the arms nuts first, then tighten the center mounts to spec.

Two stands, one jack and about an hour and you'll have all four bushings changed out. This is a very simple job but the results will suprise you.
Ramps will work fine but I prefer stands to them.

Good luck.
