cool.

one thing i am concerned about: the 944 master has 3 lines coming out of it, i believe one is for the rears and the fronts each have their own lines. the mazda only has two ports on it...could i T the fronts together or should i keep looking for a 3-port cylinder?

Tee the two fronts. The Wilwood MC only has two ports, and a tee has worked without issue...
Even on the dual MC (Tilton or Wilwood) setup.

might do that, but it appears the cyl was cast to allow up to 4 ports...i think i might drill and tap another port lol

yes there is. ABS MC doesn't work well in non ABC car. There's a trick how to identify if MC is ABS or non ABS.

The smaller the diameter of the piston, the higher the pressure in the outgoing line. That's why the later cars have a smaller piston, because they're pushing two pistons/caliper. If the bore and stroke is close, they should be fine. since the double piston Mazda calipers require more juice and pressure, the Mazda might just make your brakes a bit "touchy"..just spitballin..

All 944 master cylinders are sold as one and the same now. In the past they were sold under two different part numbers, but now just one.
