Strut question: Spacer sleeve, do I need it?
So right after I purchased my 951 I had a local Porsche shop install a set of Konis.
I've got the front end torn down right now and I was looking at the parts catalog. Seems that the shop didn't install any spacer sleeves (above the spring hats, part # 823 412 365).
Do I need them? My guess is that I do. A quick search shows "part no longer available". Ughh. Any help from someone more experienced?

OK. I figured it out.
The exploded parts view in the catalog is incorrect and shows the spacer on the wrong side of the mount. Turns out I do have the spacers.
