(int mode Dino steering wheels / all /foot pedals & self made foot rest) susp (car lower 1½" frt--¾" rear) ext ( frt shave bumper -driving ligths Bosche Pilote clear lens---rear AIR fiberglass bumper) detail motor + dozen of little modes witch are not visible.Don't forget you cannot do all the mods to your car in a week take your time. The last mode I did on it was to get ride of those awful conical lens & install flat face one, really thing this mod should be done on any early 944 cheap mode if you DIY & worth it.
Your early interior reminds me of my now departed 83. Same color interior but yours is so much nicer. I really loved that car, even with the steering wheel position feeling too close. RE the the rear seat delete pic you posted. I made that package tray on by black 951 about 4-5 years ago. It worked out great for me and I stored gobs of stuff plus mounted my amps on the underside away from prying eyes when parked.

The early interior cleans up b e a u t i f u l l y. It's just that most are, well, completely shot. Great job, luftpirate!

no, they're different seats that have been refurbished which is why i asked if they were 928 seats. there was a discussion about these seats before either here or pelican but i can't remember which or the outcome. In the other thread the seats were described as early 924 seat but my old '78 never had them.

[edit]
the progress thread in his sig shows theyre sparcos

I actually did not do the hookup or make the cluster. But have had the cluster off many times. If you know the pin-outs of original gauges, it is just wiring up the warning lights and the new gauges. The senders are all Autometer with metric adapters. The fuel gauge is a little off (Ford sender/similar ohms), but very predictable once you know it. Autometer makes a programmable fuel gauge, but I have been too cheap to buy it.

Ben - Does that eat into your leg room at all? Or is it just an illusion, because it seems like your dash hangs a bit farther down than the stock one
