Default Interior Removal

Ok, I am in the process of removing my head liner to swap into another body. But I can not seem to get the A-pillar interior piece off. I managed to get the bottom loose by removing the screws on the pillar. Even after that the top section will not budge.

Any ideas?

IIRC the door seals have to be pulled for it to come out.

Mine was glued into place, with some monster strength glue, I had to destroy it to get it out.

There's a screw in the top of the a-pillar trim that is at an odd angle, straight up if I remember correctly.

I removed all the trim all ready. I have the liner and A-pillar left.

As far as I can tell the three screws are out but I will double check again.

I can pull the bottom of the piece back and forth on a pivot around the top, I was not sure if there was a metal clip holding it all in.

I will double check tomorrow.

Watch out for the B and C pillars -- they used A LOT of glue on those, and you may tear the head liner if you're not careful.
