I am leaving for the Bahamas tomorrow and I'll be gone for a much needed week of R&R... to replace my usual R&D.

I know there have been some warnings about Americans leaving the country in a time like this with "Terror" alerts and all but do you really think I could be at risk in someplace like the Bahamas.

Do you guys think that I could run into this backlash of anti-American sentiment that I have heard about lately or am I just being silly.

Let me know what you guys think because I have heard everything from "If someone tries to mess with you, kick there a$$" to " Oh no, dont even think about leaving American shores at a time like this."

I say go for it! Don't know Bahamas never been there., are they French? Still from what I have seen/heard they are laid back island type culture right? haha, I might just go with the Canadian thing if I get in a pinch. The Bohama-people dont have a problem with us, its just there are quite a few visitors from lots of other places that go there.
I dont feel I will have a problem but I just wanted to get a second opinion.
