Default Bolting bracket onto BS cover

Anyone think it'd be likely to cause any issues regarding leakage or damage if I were to bolt a bracket onto the entire upper balance shaft cover? I am figuring out ways to mount my supercharger.

I know blown944 did it but am not sure if he had any issues.

The plate/bracket would extend the entire length of the BS cover but bear in mind that all the torque would be off the very front end, further out than the actual balance shaft sprocket.

I realize that the 10mm bolts holding down most of the cover aren't made for much grunt, so I'd probably extend the bracket to attach to the AC bracket as well (keeping AC as is).

I can't quite answer your question regarding the b/s cover, but mine is mounted to where the A/C bracket would go. I'm sure you could construct a way to utilize those big bolts to hold the A/C bracket AND the blower bracket, but I'm not sure. From what I've seen, the guys running an M90 on the side like us while keeping A/C have had to move the A/C compressor down somewhere below the alternator, somehow, and use one long-*** belt to snake through everything. Its crazytown.
