Very well done! Really like the matte finish. How long did it take to do the dash?

What size sheet did you use to do the interior parts?

It took me about an hour to do excluding the 2 parts round the steering column yet to do. Some of the curves were a bit tricky round the edge of the center console. I had to grip a hairdryer between my knees to warm just enough to be able to stretch the material. Large and complex parts will benefit from a second pair of hands.

A 50cm long piece off the 1.22m roll should be plenty with some spare to allow for **** ups.

I bought a whole roll as I'm intending to supply trim kits for these and other cars to compliment my range of exclusive clear lenses.

BTW....my S.2 was used in the opening sequences here......

I never liked the glossy look of the carbon fiber kits however I like the matte finish on this. I'm with Dougs951, just another thing to ad to my list.

The most popular seems to be the 421, so thats what I would assume he is using.

There are some really neat aplications for this stuff. Some people have wraped thier entire car. Looks really nice!

Usually I'd call rice but that does look rather decent for the interior pieces

Just don't go overboard with it...

It is indeed CA-421 Black which is widely available in the U.K. It's one of a family of finishes including Anthracite CA-421 IIRC which I thought might suit our cars with grey interiors.

However no distributor had stock and I had to go top 3M direct to get just an A4sample as a trade user. Here's a couple of pics alongside the dash end panel coated in the black. Difficult to describe, but turns from silver/ grey to nearly black in different light and has a less matt finish....

Agree you have to know when to stop - which is why I'm going to leave the rest of the interior parts that are black as they are. Mind you, if I had a black car, I might just be tempted to do the bonnet....sorry - hood

I think covering the roof of your home with this stuff would fall under the definition of "overdone"

You know, What about the dash. I mean the dash in my 87 airbag car. It is all cracked up and instead of replacing it, I wonder how well the wrap would hold up on it. (maybe not on the actual airbag, but on the rest)
