Red face Yet another problem!!!

Well, I was sitting in my car the other day and the lights that tell me my parking brake is on started flickering and dimming and finally died. But when I'm turning the car off they come back on for a second or 2 then shut off again. Any ideas about this one??? <img border="0" alt="[crying]" title="" src="graemlins/crying.gif" />

the switch that the lever relieves when in the down position may be shorting out or touching to cause it to come on. mine comes on every now and then because the lever is kinda loose.

The switch on the lever is adjustable. Could be that it has backed off. Locate the seitch so that the next time it happens you can reach down and hold the switch in. If it goes away, adjust the seitch.

On my early 944, this is the same light that indicates low pressure in the brake master cylinder. Are you sure the reservoir has fluid and the hydraulics are in good condition?
